The time it takes to ship your made to order jewellery varies from 1 to 5 business days (Monday to Friday), please keep this in mind when purchasing my items as my small business is completely handmade.
Pre-made collection pieces will ship much quicker (around 2 business days).
Domestic UK orders are sent via Royal Mail, with the option of 48 or 24 hour tracked services, upgrade at checkout for faster delivery.
International orders may be subject to sales tax or import duties, these additional charges have been incorporated into the pricing of my pieces, the buyer should not incur any additional fees on import. All international orders will be sent via Royal Mail tracked services.
USA orders have duty custom costs (10%) already factored into the final price.
EU or NI orders are not currently available.
Returns informationRefunds can be facilitated within 14 days of delivery, please contact me if you need to arrange a return. Due to sanitary reasons, I cannot accept returns of worn or unpackaged piercing jewellery. If your item remains in its packaging with the hygiene seal untampered with, a refund can be offered. However, if there is a fault with your item or it has arrived damaged, send me a message via the contact us page for further support.
Unfortunately, I am unable to cover the costs of return postage at this time, the item is under your responsibility until it arrives back with me, we would suggest return items are sent using a tracked service.
MaterialsAt present, I use 100% recycled sterling silver, elements of fine silver for gemstone setting, 14K gold fill (bonded to a brass core) and stainless steel (316L surgical steel). All my precious metals are sourced from UK based reputable suppliers so you can be rest assured than your jewellery is built to last.
Care informationYour jewellery has been thoroughly sanitized before being packaged in a heat-sealed pouch (piercing jewellery), however we do recommend sanitizing again before wearing your jewellery.
Avoid harsh alcohol-based sanitizers as this can damage precious metals and/or gemstones, instead lather with a antibacterial soap and rinse, making sure your hands are washed before fitting.
Please find below, information on caring for your jewellery listed by metal type.
Sterling and Fine Silver
Silver is susceptible to tarnishing, an oxidisation process meaning the surface of the metal reacts with something in the environment around it, making the metal look darker grey/ brown and in rare cases black. Please do not be alarmed, it does not mean the metal is degrading or is of poor quality, it means the surface layer has reacted with a substance it has encountered. Silver tarnishes quicker in humid conditions, chlorine from pools/ hot tubs and some cosmetics.
The good news is tarnish is easily removed with silver cleaning solutions or polishing cloths. Wearing your jewellery helps prevent build ups as well as storing in airtight containers when not being worn. Use silver dips sparingly and only when required as repeated use will make damage to gemstones more likely.
Repeated exposure to chlorine and salt water is likely to also damage gemstones. If contact is made, rinse with water following this to prevent damage from residue.
Gold
Gold and gold filled jewellery to be kept shiny with gold cleaning solutions, use only when required as repeated unrequired use of these solutions can damage gemstones.
Stainless Steel (316L Surgical Steel)
Clean with anti-bacterial warm soapy water.
